Will my treatment hurt?

At Kennedy Dental, we make every effort to ensure provide gentle, stress-free dentistry to our patients. Patients who fear dental visits have found that our warm and soothing environment and the attention of our caring dental team is enough to help them relax.

Our dentists in Bellevue, NE are all experts at what they do because they’ve been doing it for decades! They administer hundreds of gentle injections to our patients every year and use premium anesthetics to numb your mouth so that you won’t feel any pain during your procedure.

Sedation Options at Kennedy Dental

Still, many patients who have dental anxiety appreciate that we also offer sedation dentistry in Bellevue. With gentle relaxation administered by qualified professionals, you won’t believe how stress-free high-quality dental care can be.

Nitrous oxide is gentle, and the calming effects last only for the duration of your procedure. You’ll be able to relax while you get treatment then leave our office feeling relaxed, refreshed, and ready to face the rest of your day.

For some patients, nitrous oxide isn’t quite enough to eliminate their anxiety. In these cases, our dentists can prescribe a sedative for you to take an hour before your appointment. When you arrive at Kennedy Dental, you’ll be relaxed and will remain so during your procedure.

However, oral sedation stays in your system for several hours, so you will need someone to get you safely to and from your appointment, and you should plan to go home and rest.
